Sid R. Alvey, LUTCF
Since entering the financial services industry in 1986, Sid R. Alvey has been committed to providing quality service and sound investment recommendations to clients in the Rocky Mountain region.
He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He currently holds the designations of Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow from the American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Those to receive the LUTCF designation must complete five required courses, (three to six months in length), plus one course on ethics, and then pass a final examination.
For more than a decade, Sid has been a Qualifying and Life member* of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and a qualifying member of the Top of the Table. MDRT is an international, independent association of over 35,000 of the world's life insurance and financial services professionals from 79 nations and territories. MDRT members are required to demonstrate professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and quality service.
As President of Your Financial Resource, Inc., Sid shows an understanding in meeting the needs of high net worth individuals, successful professionals, business owners, and retirees. He focuses his business career on insurance, estate and retirement investing. Sid is easy to talk to and takes the time with clients to help them thoroughly understand ideas and concepts. He takes a caring and concerned approach in dealing with his clients and seeks to place their interests foremost. Trust, integrity, and availability are the cornerstones of his business and his personal commitment to every client.
Sid focuses on helping small business owners set up health insurance and disability insurance plans, pension plans, life insurance funding and minimizing costs for estate taxes. He works with business owners and professionals to establish investment and saving programs, IRA's and other financial products. When appropriate, Sid also uses the resources of a team of outside professionals** including accountants and attorneys in the local area.
Active in the community, Sid resides in Bountiful with his wife, Arlene, and their five children. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors, adventure motorcycle riding and enjoying family.
